Sam Krüger is a singer-songwriter from London, Ontario. He released his first EP, "Moving So Slow" in his hometown in 2015 which managed to chart on a few college radio stations across Canada. Soon afterwards he made a small summer trip to Montreal and determined to move there the next month - arriving days before starting university level philosophy and French. Sam was quickly introduced to local musicians after having accidently become a balcony neighbour to the weekly host at Grumpy’s ‘Chick Pickin’ Monday and soon found himself playing regular acoustic gigs in café’s and pubs around the city. Since the move, Sam has toured through southern Ontario and has been honing his song writing and musicianship to create a well established solo act.

Now that his roots have grown deep enough in this heavily cultured and artistic incubator of a city he has teamed up with Aly Marguerite from Old Time Honey to produce his next EP. Taking a few steps back from indie rock, the new project is now focused on folk and soul with particular attention directed towards songwriting, lush harmonies and more delicate production and arrangements. He certainly doesn’t underestimate the importance of song dynamics and simplicity to create catchy hooks and compelling song structure. Sam has a unique ability to layer the sounds of old soul music with his often philosophically driven lyrics to create original compositions that are tied together perfectly with his deep crooner voice. He has been writing music much before he learned his first cover song and has more original songs in the bank than songs he’s learned to play. This experience can be clearly heard through his musical creations and you can hear it anew through his latest EP, (May 2019) "All Sick Again".
